As the sun set, my urgency to take as many sunflower photos increased. With the sun being behind the sunflowers it was important to get light on the foreground without looking artificial. To do this I was holding my reflector in one hand, directing my flash toward the reflector while taking the photo with my other hand. When I posted this shot on instagram I discovered it was more popular than I thought and so it made the final (final) cut.
Taken outside Allora, Queensland. Thursday 29th December 2016.
Camera used: Nikon D810. Settings: 28-70mm lens (at 56mm), f/6.3, exposure 1/250. Flash used.
