Driving to Donald I was disappointed that once again my planned out trip would not include clear skies. I did manage this photo on that trip. This curious sheep photo has become my best selling picture. Now whenever I start to become frustrated by elements outside of my control when photographing I remember this photo and realise that that overcast day meant these sheep weren’t in shadows for this shot, something a clear sky would not have done. Just because I don’t get what I planned for doesn’t mean I won’t get an even better shot.

Camera used: Nikon D700. Settings: 28-70mm lens (at 70mm), f/3.5, exposure 1/200.
