Years ago I went on what was kind of a healing holiday. The previous holiday I’d been in a nasty car accident and needed something a bit more positive to experience if I was ever going to venture out again. In the evenings, on that holiday, I would walk out into the ocean watching the sun set in front of me. When I look at this photo it reminds of that time of healing, with the salt water against my skin and the sun golden rays shining down on me. To be honest this is the Gold Coast’s sunrise but it doesn’t change the idea of healing for me as it was the day before lockdown began in Queensland and everything seemed so uncertain.
