I was not one of those people that welcomed in 2019 at midnight, instead my plan was to make the first sunrise of 2019. In the Gold Coast that means rising just after 3am. By the time I got to the beach I wasn’t the first with the camera and tripod out. However we were a sharing group, there was plenty of beach for all of us. It also was a beautiful dawn and sunrise.
