Lorikeets are an amazing Australian bird. I remember as a teenager my sister and I doing a road trip from Victoria to the Gold Coast. One of the places we visited was Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. My sister took two photos of me feeding the lorikeets. One I’m all smiles with the lorikeets perched on my arm looking at the camera, the next I’m frowning as I realise what the lorikeets have left behind on my arm. This time I was just photographing them.
